Delivery of QGN80-200 Internal Pipe Shot Blasting Machine in Belarus
Project Background
We recently completed the on-site installation and commissioning of the QGN80-200 Internal Pipe Shot Blasting Machine for a client in Belarus. This project aimed to upgrade the client’s surface preparation capabilities for long-dimension steel pipes through an automated solution.
Client Requirements
For this project, the client outlined specific technical and processing parameters for pipe surface preparation:
Workpiece Specifications: The system must process steel pipes with diameters of 80-200mm, lengths of 4,000-12,000mm, and a maximum unit weight of 550kg.
Cleaning Standards: Complete removal of internal mill scale and rust to achieve a surface cleanliness of Sa2.5 (GB8923-88), with a consistent surface profile of Ra25-50μm.
Operation Mode: A fully automated workflow to minimize manual intervention and reduce operator fatigue.
Engineering Solution
Based on the workpiece characteristics, we designed the QGN80-200 system featuring a parallel mobile lifting trolley mechanism for material handling. Upon inputting the pipe length, the control system automatically dispatches the required number of lifting trolleys (units 1 through 3) to position the workpiece. During operation, the pneumatic covers of both fixed and mobile sealing chambers are closed; the pipe rotates evenly on polyurethane rollers while auto-positioned blast nozzles provide comprehensive internal cleaning.
Equipment Features
Automated Material Handling: Three sets of 3kW mobile lifting trolleys operate synchronously based on pipe lengths (e.g., ≤6m, 6-10m, 10-12m), managing loading and unloading without manual assistance.
Consistent Blasting Module: Equipped with a four-nozzle intermittent blast pot, the system integrates abrasive level detection and auto-refilling functions to ensure blast stream stability and consistent cleaning results.
Closed-Loop Recovery & Dust Collection: Features a high-efficiency abrasive separator (separation efficiency >99%). A dual dust collection system (cartridge and pulse-jet baghouse) restricts dust emissions to ≤10mg/m³, complying with stringent industrial environmental regulations.
Our Engineering Capabilities
Process Integration (Surface Preparation - Coating - Anti-Corrosion)
Beyond supplying individual cleaning equipment, we focus on integrating the entire upstream and downstream pipeline anti-corrosion process. High-quality anti-corrosion coatings depend on superior substrate preparation. Our systems are engineered to synchronize with subsequent coating lines, supporting logic interlocks and coordinated production between internal and external blasting stations. By seamlessly aligning surface purification and profile control with specific coating requirements, we ensure the mechanical adhesion and long-term reliability of the pipe’s anti-corrosion layer from the source.
Deep Customization & Turnkey Solutions
As a dedicated surface treatment solution provider, we offer full-stack customization capabilities. Whether adapting mechanical structures for non-standard pipes, designing production lines for specific facility layouts, or configuring dust collection systems to meet varying regional environmental policies, we deliver comprehensive turnkey services—from engineering design and manufacturing to factory acceptance testing and overseas on-site commissioning.
