- Simple equipment and low investment. In addition to the addition of a vacuum pump and a particular sandbox, the other equipment of the V method moulding is relatively simple. The sand mixer and some auxiliary equipment can be omitted, the investment cost is low, and the equipment maintenance is convenient.
- Save raw materials and power. Because the V method uses dry sand, it is easy to shake off the sand, and the sand recovery rate can reach more than 95%. The V method molding uses less power, only 60%, than the green sand method and can reduce labor by 35%.
- The service life of the pattern and the sandbox is long. Because plastic film protects the pattern, the drafting force is minimal, there is only slight vibration, and it is not affected by high temperature and high pressure, so the pattern is not easy to deform and damage.
